Responsibilities
? Set up brake forming machines for the first article and production runs.
? Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine forming sequences and
tooling requirements.
? Select, install, and adjust punches, dies, and back gauges based on material type and part geometry.
? Operate brake forming machines to produce precision sheet metal components.
? Verify parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance
with specifications.
? Monitor part consistency and repeatability throughout production runs.
? Make necessary adjustments to machine settings and offsets to maintain quality standards.
? Perform first article inspections and support buy-off requirements.
? Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and safety
standards.
? Communicate with supervisors, quality, and engineering to resolve manufacturing or quality issues as
needed.
Qualifications
? 2-5 years of brake form setup and operation experience preferred.
? Strong understanding of sheet metal forming processes and materials.
? Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.
? Experience using precision measuring tools.
? Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
? Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
? Positive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Schedule and Compensation
? Full-time position
? Pay range: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experience
? 8-hour shifts
? Day shift and night shift available
? Overtime and weekends as needed
? Pay is competitive and based on experience
